Job Description
Looking for an experienced, friendly, full-time/part-time Optician for a wonderful, private optometric practice located in Duncansville, PA. The ideal candidate would have the following knowledge and skills:
- Motivated, professional, responsible, organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker
- Knowledgeable of high-end eyewear, and lens options
- Good communication skills with a friendly personality.
- Experience with various insurance and vision plans
- Experience in interfacing with lens labs, frames ordering, inventory, etc.
- Basic computer skills such as data entry, MS Office, etc.
Duties will include
- Helping patients select eyeglasses given knowledge of their insurance coverage
- Taking accurate frame and lens measurements
- Ordering the selected glasses and contacts
- Dispensing and adjusting eyewear
- Insurance and Benefit explanation
- Creating an exceptional customer experience
- Assisting the optometrist as needed
Office
Private practice with 3 full time OD's, and 2 part time. Outstanding patient care, latest technology including OCT & Optos, Optilight IPL and Neurolens. No weekends starting in June, 2025.
