Job Description
With a doctor retiring, Vision Park Family Eye Care is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our growing team! Vision Park has served the greater Des Moines, Iowa, area since 1929, and our two locations are in Urbandale and West Des Moines. We offer you to practice full scope optometry in what YOU have passion for. We are known for family practice, pediatric and developmental eye care, specialty contact lens fitting (including keratoconus, scleral, and ortho-K), myopia control, ocular disease management, dry eye treatment, pre- and post-operative care, low vision, vision therapy, neuro-optometry/concussion rehabilitation, botox and sports vision training. Our optometric technicians, opticians, front office, vision therapists, and insurance specialists have years of experience and are well trained. We pride ourselves on always having up-to-date technology such as Optomap, OCT, retinal camera, topography, visual fields, Optilight by Lumenis and electronic health records. We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who has leadership skills, good interpersonal communication skills and passion for optometry. Vision Park Family Eye Care offers a competitive compensation package with base salary and a monthly bonus structure. We are open Monday through Friday (no late nights or weekends!) and you can choose between a full-time or part-time work schedule.
