Candidate Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice optometry in NY.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage various eye conditions.
- Strong refracting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in a kind and easy-to-understand manner.
- Genuine compassion for patients, with a strong desire to improve their well-being and quality of life.
- Ability to create a welcoming, patient-centered environment and work effectively with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with advanced optometric technology (OCT, visual field testing, fundus photography. Vision R phoropter).
- Experience with specialty contact lenses (e.g., scleral, multifocal) is a plus.
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages, from children to seniors.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
