About the Practice:
We are a busy, well-established ophthalmology clinic providing comprehensive eye care, including cataract, glaucoma, and routine vision services. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology including Optos, OCT, and IOL Master.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Optometrist (OD) to provide per diem coverage while our in-house optometrist is out from March 16 – April 20, 2025. You’ll work closely with our ophthalmologists and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform IOP checks, VSP/routine eye exams, and glaucoma follow-up visits

• Conduct cataract evaluations and consults in coordination with the surgeon

• Interpret OCT, Optos, and IOL Master results as appropriate

• Document findings and coordinate care within the EMR

• Collaborate with ophthalmology team for co-managed patients

Schedule:

• Flexible per diem schedule during the coverage period

• Typical clinic hours: [insert hours, e.g., Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5 PM]

• No weekends or call

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program

• Active California Optometry License in good standing

• Prior experience in medical optometry or co-management preferred

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation:

• Competitive per diem rate (based on experience)
