Lakeway Vision Associates is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join their established and growing practice, located near picturesque Lake Travis just outside Austin.  Come join us in compassionate comprehensive eye and vision care with a schedule that allows for excellent work satisfaction, incredibly fulfilling patient interactions, and a beautiful quality of life. This opportunity is 3-4 days per week with the option to increase to full-time in the future.

What you'll do:

On a typical day, you can expect to conduct 14 to 20 comprehensive and intermediate exams. The position can be scheduled as 3 days or 4 days per week, and will have the option to increase to full-time in the future.  With access to cutting-edge technology such as Optos retinal imaging, OCT, Humphery Field Analyzer, Humphery FDT screening perimetry, Autorefractor, topographer, and Non-contact Tonometer, you will have all the necessary tools to confidently assess each patient's needs. Our highly skilled team will assist in all aspects of patient care, including exams, treatments, contact lens fittings, and evaluations.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Texas Therapeutic Optometrist license in good standing with Optometric Glaucoma Specialist designation
• Active DEA registration
• Active Professional Liability Insurance
