💻 Our Tech (not all inclusive):

Cirrus OCT, Humphrey VF, AR/Topographers, Optos, SMap by Visionary Optics, Oculus 5M, Keratograph 5M, NCT, MPOD, NightHawk slit lamps, IPL/RF, LLLT, and LipiFlow

🗓 Schedule:

• 4-day workweek (full-time); part-time options available

• No Saturdays required

• Rotating schedule across both locations

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary + Monthly Production Bonus

• 401(k) with 5% automatic employer contribution

• 20 Days PTO, $1,000 CE allowance, malpractice, license & AOA dues covered

• Medical insurance (high % of premium covered)

• Interest in or experience with dry eye, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular disease, or generally a passion for specialty care with our field and within our scope

• Enthusiastic team player and teacher

• Spanish-speaking a plus (not required)

Sandia Vision Clinic is the largest private optometry practice in NM. We have 2 locations and 5 doctors currently.

We believe in using the best technology to provide state-of-the-art comprehensive eye
care. This technology includes equipment like: OCT, VF, Optos, Oculus 5M keratograph,
Smap, Nighthawk slit lamps, IPL, LLLT, Lipiflow and more!

Our doctors are able to pursue the specialties of their choosing, with complete support from the owner and
administrator. This autonomy allows associates to practice at a high level in their chosen
modality and refer cases that they are not comfortable with in house. This is also a great
environment to learn from your peers, as all the associates are very supportive of one
another.  

Candidate Description

It is very important for our associates to be passionate about working in private practice.
This modality of practice requires an unparalleled level of care and customer service. It
also requires the doctors to make recommendations for the highest level of care for the
patient.

Working at Sandia Vision Clinic requires a high level of team mentality. Whether it is working with your
fellow ODs or the staff team, we are all learning and growing together. All associates are
expected to contribute towards teaching and training the staff, especially in specific
areas of expertise.

SVC is an incredibly busy practice, all the associates should have the desire to build
their own practice within the greater practice. Each location is very different but all
doctors and staff rotate between the 2 locations.
