Seeking optometrist for a full-time (preferred) or part-time associate position with the opportunity for future ownership. Located on Oregon’s north coast, our independent, medically-focused clinic offers full-scope care with a strong emphasis on ocular disease management. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us—whether by developing a subspecialty niche like dry eye, vision therapy, aesthetics, or pediatrics, or by investing in long-term practice leadership, or both. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and supported by a collaborative team. Office

We’re a thriving, full-scope, medical private practice on the beautiful Oregon coast. Our clinic offers:

• Medical Focus: Manage glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and more—work at the top of your license.
• Tech-Enabled: OCT Angiography, wide field fundus photography, ERG (RetEval), IPL, meibography, corneal topography, anterior segment imaging
• Build Your Niche: Passionate about dry eye, aesthetics, myopia management, specialty contacts, vision therapy, pediatrics? You’ll have the support and space to make it your own.
• Path to Ownership: We’re seeking an associate interested in buy-in and a long-term role in the practice and community.
• Both our offices are new and beautiful, built in 2022 and 2024

Candidate Description

The ideal candidate is a patient-centered, growth-minded optometrist who is eager to provide full-scope care and build lasting relationships within a close-knit community. They should have a strong foundation in medical optometry and be comfortable managing conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye disease. A genuine interest in developing a clinical niche—whether in specialty contact lenses, vision therapy, ocular aesthetics, or pediatrics—is highly valued. We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, adaptable, and excited about the potential for ownership and long-term investment in the future of the practice. A good fit will appreciate the rewards of rural coastal living, and bring both professional curiosity and a spirit of shared leadership to the team.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in optometry
• Residency training not required but will be more competitive
• License in good standing in Oregon required or must be obtained before beginning clinical work.

Preferred

• Passionate about quality patient care (obviously)
• Interested in community-based practice (why move all the way out here otherwise!)
• Open to shaping the future of the clinic and growing into a leadership role (again, ownership interest not required but we feel it's a strong plus for the practice and the candidate if it's there)
