Optometric Tech/Front Desk

Job Description

Private optometry office looking for a trained tech to do patients testing as well as get them ready for their exam with the doctor. Will be performing such tests as OCT, VF, Topography, Photos, ETC. Tech will also assist with answering the phones, scheduling appointments, and taking over the phone contact lens orders.

Office

We are a private practice with a large patient base. Our main priority and goal is to take care of the patient and to do it with pride and compassion. We have a large number of patients that have been coming to us for numerous years because of this care and service and we would like to see that increase. We are also an office that is always up to date with the new technology to further our patient care. With the right candidate we know that we can take this office to the next level. 

Candidate Description

We are looking for someone who is a great multitasker as we can sometimes have a lot of things going on at once. Someone who is compassionate about patient care and has the experience to do it properly. We would like someone that is open to constant training and can keep up with the office flow while also being self sufficient. We would love someone who is trained in all areas of optical including dispensing and minor adjustments. Another quality we would like to see in our candidate is punctuality, arriving on time for each shift is crucial to the way we provide patient care.

Candidate Requirements

Candidate must have at least 2 years experience as an Optometric Tech. Must have reliable transportation.
