Join a well-established, multi-location eye care practice dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centered vision care. This part-time opportunity (Tuesday and Friday) offers flexibility, clinical variety, and the chance to collaborate with an experienced team of providers in a modern, technology-driven patient setting.

Key Responsibilities & Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology 
  • Collaborate with a team of optometrists and ophthalmologists, fostering a supportive, team-based approach to patient care
  • Enjoy the flexibility to focus on the types of patients and clinical interests you are most passionate about
  • Manage a wide range of eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts
  • Participate in co-management of surgical patients, including cataract and refractive procedures, within a fully equipped surgical network
  • Provide patient education and build long-term relationships in a compassionate, community-focused environment

Lee Surgery Center is a state of the art accredited surgery center equipped with the latest equipment and lasers for eye surgery. Surgeries performed at Lee Surgery Center include: cataract, corneal transplant and DSEK, glaucoma and eyelid surgeries. Laser surgeries include LASIK, after-cataract membrane, glaucoma and retina. Patient satisfaction has been overwhelming

Candidate Description

  • Completion of an accredited optometry residency program (ocular disease, primary care, or specialty areas welcome)
  • Passion for patient-centered, full-scope care
  • Eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to a collaborative team
  • Interest in rural health and serving a tight-knit community

Candidate Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
  • Active Ohio state optometry license
  • Valid CPR certificate
  • Experience preferred
