Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular diseases, with a focus on dry eye and related conditions.   
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication prescriptions, therapeutic procedures, and lifestyle recommendations.
  • Fit contact lenses, including specialty lenses for patients with complex needs.
  • Educate patients on their eye health, treatment options, and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the practice through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • License to practice optometry in Ohio (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience with ocular disease and dry eye management preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current optometric practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
