Job Description
Brandywine Eye Center is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Optometrist to join our established private practice in Delaware. We are committed to providing exceptional vision and medical eye care using advanced technology in a collaborative, supportive environment. Whether you are an experienced doctor or a recent graduate, we welcome candidates who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and building lasting relationships with their patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and vision disorders.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and therapeutic medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with our experienced clinical and optical teams to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Refer patients for specialty care or co-manage with ophthalmology when appropriate.
- Stay current with advances in optometry and evidence-based patient care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Delaware optometry license (or eligibility for licensure before start date).
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented private practice.
