Candidate Description

We are looking for a motivated optometrist for our Norfolk, Virginia location. This is a private practice setting located inside of a Navy Exchange, where you will take care of active and retired military members and their families. Enjoy feeling like you have your own private practice, without having the stress of practice management. Support staff takes care of all scheduling, billing, etc. We value our patient's experience, and are looking for an optometrist who strives to provide the best care to each and every patient.

Candidate Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active state optometry license in your state
• Comprehensive eye exams
• Contact lens fittings
• Diagnosis and management of ocular disease
• Glaucoma and diabetic eye monitoring
• Retinal imaging and OCT interpretation
• Specialty contact lenses
• Myopia management
• Strong patient communication
• Chairside manner
• Ability to educate patients clearly
