Office
Urban Optiks Optometry is a privately owned, design-forward boutique practice focused on delivering a refined, individualized eye care experience. The practice emphasizes quality over volume, with extended exam times and a highly curated patient base.
The clinical environment is supported by advanced diagnostic technology, including OCT (Topcon Maestro 2), corneal topography (CA-800), and digital refraction (CV-5000). The space reflects a modern, upscale aesthetic, paired with a collaborative team that prioritizes precision, service, and attention to detail.
This is a non-corporate setting where care is intentional, the pace is measured, and both clinical and optical experiences are elevated.
Candidate Description
An ideal candidate values a more intentional approach to optometry and takes pride in delivering a high level of patient care. This role suits someone who is confident, communicative, and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to connect with patients in a thoughtful, professional manner.
The right fit is comfortable working in a boutique environment where presentation, service, and clinical precision are equally important. Candidates who appreciate a collaborative team dynamic and enjoy guiding patients through premium visual solutions will align well with the practice.
This opportunity appeals to those seeking flexibility as well as those interested in long-term growth within a boutique setting.
Candidate Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active California optometry license in good standing
- Strong clinical skills in refraction, ocular health evaluation, and contact lens fitting
- Proficiency in patient communication and case presentation
- Familiarity with OfficeMate/ExamWriter and modern diagnostic equipment preferred
