Optician / Optical Sales

Job Description

Front end optical sales. Working with patients beginning to end. Greets patients , tech takes over, then picks up patient during the hand off from the Dr. Assists with lens selection, frame and completes sale. Bills and prepares for lab. 

We have medical patients every day and do a fair amount of co management also.

Candidate must be a "people person" and truly love optical work and the daily tasks. We treat our patients as family as well as our staff members.

Billing experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of high end lens and sales is needed.

Office

We are a small, 1 Dr. practice with over 25 years in the area. Strong following. 

We offer 8 paid holidays and vacation. We are flexible and ideally we have 3 sales people rotating the patients. We have a dedicated tech and also a scheduler. 

After 3 mo probation period, we offer a monthly bonus based on sales quota as well as spiffs that change monthly.

Candidate Description

Candidate Requirements

At least 6 months optical experience. Will train but some experience is mandatory.
