We’re seeking an optometrist to join our expanding private practice as we move into a newly built space designed around efficiency, technology, and a smooth clinical workflow. You’ll have the support staff, scheduling structure, and resources needed to focus on patient care.

Our practice continues to grow! We are moving into a new space with 8 exam rooms, a dry eye suite, 3 testing rooms, and a large optical (lenses are cut on site). Moving date will be 2/28/26; we'd love to give you a tour of the new space.

Candidate Description

Clinical scope

We provide comprehensive optometry including:
• Primary care & medical eye care
• Dry eye management (including IPL and OptiLift)
• Contact lenses & specialty fits
• Co-management & ocular disease

We also welcome doctors interested in developing areas such as pediatrics, low vision, or vision therapy and will support building those services within the practice. We enjoy discussing cases and supporting continued clinical growth.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
• Eligible for Maryland licensure
• Comfortable providing comprehensive eye care and managing ocular conditions
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Interest in practicing full-scope optometry within a collaborative environment
