A new optical dispensary preparing to open in Lindale, TX is seeking an independent Ophthalmologist interested in leasing exam lane space on a flat-rate per-lane or per-diem basis. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who prefers autonomy and minimal overhead while expanding presence in East Texas.

Candidate Description
Licensed Ophthalmologist (MD/DO) in Texas
Malpractice coverage in place
Comfortable operating an independent medical practice
Interested in a low-overhead, flexible clinic arrangement
Open to helping shape a new location from the ground up.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidate Requirements
MD or DO (Ophthalmology)
Active, unrestricted Texas medical license - Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology
Current DEA registration (if prescribing) - Malpractice insurance maintained by the physician
- Ability to operate as an independent medical practice
- Willingness to use own EHR and billing system.
- Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Comfortable working in a new, start-up clinical environment
- Professional, patient-centered approach to care
- Reliable availability for scheduled clinic days
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in general ophthalmology
- Interest in building a long-term local presence
- Ability to provide medical eye care and follow-ups
- Existing patient base in East Texas
