Job Description

Optometrist – Partnership Opportunity | Family Practice in Tulare County, CA

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $650 per day
After 3 months: Eligibility for health insurance and bonus program
Bonus: Paid quarterly, based on a percentage of total receipts
Additional benefits:
Payment of professional dues
Reimbursement for select continuing education (CE) expenses

Office

Location: Tulare County, California

Schedule

3–4 days per week, with flexibility based on your availability
The practice can accommodate up to two ODs at a time
Option to arrange additional days at nearby offices if you prefer a full 5-day schedule
Patient Load

See 16–22 patients per day
Around 90% comprehensive exams, with some follow-ups and urgent visits
Serve a diverse and loyal patient base, including a large Hispanic community (40–60%) — several staff members are fluent in Spanish
Technology & Equipment

You’ll have access to modern diagnostic tools, including:

Optos, Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Cirrus 5000 OCT, AR, ERG, FDT, and more
EHR system: Affinity
Staff Support

Our trained and experienced staff perform most of the pretesting and workup, allowing you to focus on patient care. They can assist with acuities, cover tests, and pupils if needed.
