Job Description

Huffman Family Eye Care in Dallas, GA, is looking for a passionate, friendly Licensed Optician to join our team. This role involves guiding patients through frame and lens selections, taking accurate optical measurements, educating patients on lens options, verifying insurance (including VSP and Eyemed), and handling eyewear ordering, inspection, and dispensing. You’ll also help maintain an organized, welcoming optical area and support our doctors and staff as needed. This position offers a balanced lifestyle with no evenings or weekends.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Georgia Optician License and have strong knowledge of eyewear, lenses, and optical measurements. Excellent communication skills are required, and experience with VSP, Eyemed, Officemate, or private practice is a plus.
