Job Description
Full Scope Optometry in a semi-rural area one hr north of Charlotte, NC. Practice the way you want, choose how many patients you want to see and how you want to see them. We have multiple private locations, one practice is heavy medical with no optical and refracting technicians, one is heavier retail with IPL and a full esthetics suite with esthetician, the other two are a mixture of retail and medical with opportunity to grow into what a new associate would like.
$600-900 a day with benefits. 3-5 days a week
Office
Vision First Bethlehem-Modern optical with Optos Monaco, IPL, topography, virtual field and full esthetics suite 3 exam rooms. Open four days a week 830-5PM closed 1-2 for lunch.
Vision First Hickory-More traditional private practice, Optos california 2 exam rooms. Open four days a week 830-5PM closed 1-2 for lunch.
Vision First Oakwood-Open three days a week and growing, most recent practice purchase. Retinal camera, recently updated optical, walking distance to downtown and farmers market. Open 9-5pm 1-2pm for lunch.
Vision First Hudson-Open four days a week, very heavy medical. Four exam lanes, Virtual field, retinal camera, OCT, refracting technicians, no optical. 9-5 lunch 1-2, open 4 days a week.
All locations are within 20 min drive of each other, but in different counties and have slightly different demographics. New associate is welcome to travel between offices or pick an office and make it home. Patient load at each office depends on which OD is working. We have one OD that prefers two full exams an hour and another who likes to see 4-5 full exams an hour.
Candidate Description
Easy going attitude is a must, especially if going to different offices. Would like someone who is willing to learn and be adaptive. I am very open to change and am always looking for a more efficient way of doing things across the office to improve both staff and patients lives so a curious mind is welcome. Welcome to work 3-5 days a week depending on your needs, new grads or well established practitioners welcome.
