I have been in practice since 2006 and am looking to possibly change modes and get into private practice after being in Ophthalmology for much of my career. Both my wife and I are from the Western US and would like to be closer to family. We have been in Maine for over 10 years and would like to get back West in the near future. I would, however, need to renew my Utah license and am willing to do so for the right opportunity. The dilemma I’m facing is, my daughter is in her Junior year of high school, and we don’t want to move her in the middle of her high school years. So, that is my only hang-up. I’m sure you are looking for someone to transition into your practice soon, but if you are willing to wait another year, we are looking to move West in the summer of 2026.
