Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance to patients in selecting frames and lens designs, ensuring a positive and professional experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in insurance billing and electronic medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with frame styling and lens selection based on their vision needs and personal preferences.
- Dispense, adjust, and repair eyewear to ensure proper fit and function.
- Clearly explain vision care benefits and coverage options to patients.
- Enter and process electronic medical records and insurance billing (Revolution EHR, VSP, EyeMed).
- Order, verify, and inspect eyewear for accuracy and quality before dispensing.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing excellent customer service.
