About us
Commerce Optometry PLLC is an independent Optometry office located inside of Costco in Commerce, MI. We perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, prescribe glasses and fit contact lenses, diagnose and manage ocular issues and diseases.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests for patients
- Diagnose and manage various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic systems
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice
Office
We see two patients per hour, allowing for quality time with each patient to provide comprehensive eye exams. Our main priority is providing exceptional eye care with the convenience of being located inside of a Costco! Scheduling is flexible, staff is friendly, there are no sales tactics involved, and we love building meaningful long-lasting relationships with returning patients.
Candidate Description
We are looking for a doctor with a friendly and positive attitude who loves providing quality eye care to patients. Other qualities we are looking for include:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical record system
- Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and diseases
Candidate Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state license to practice optometry
