Precision Eye Care is looking to add a caring and compassionate doctor to our team!

This is a full time or part time opening Monday-Friday at a private practice in Newberry SC. This practice is primary eye care with a heavy focus on disease with patients of all ages. The typical day consists of a good mix of comprehensive exams, dry eye exams, dry eye treatments (LLLT/IPL), and glaucoma/macular degeneration exams.

Office

Full scope practice with heavy emphasis on disease, especially dry eyes. Patients that come to our office receive a thorough and efficient exam experience. Wide field photos, screening visual fields, and OCT of the macula/optic nerve are all included in the standard comprehensive exam. Technicians are thoroughly trained and capable, and doctors also have the option to work with a scribe and refracting technician. We focus on cultivating a positive and enjoyable work environment. We push each other to be better and to have fun while offering the best eye care possible. 

Candidate Description

The ideal candidate enjoys providing thorough eye care at an efficient pace. A willingness to learn and apply new technology/skills to provide better care for patients is a must. The candidate should also be fairly comfortable with treatment and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy as well as using photos, OCT, and other technology to monitor these conditions.
