Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive eye exams and provide care that maximizes your professional capabilities. You will play a crucial part in our practice's growth by building lasting relationships with patients and educating them about eye health. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Eye Exams: Perform thorough examinations to assess vision and ocular health.
- Build Patient Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships through exceptional care and patient education.
- Patient Interviews: Gather health and ocular history, medical issues, reasons for the visit, and visual needs.
- Recommend and Advise: Provide options for addressing ametropias, systemic and ocular diseases, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
- Vision Tests: Conduct vision tests and interpret results.
- Treatments: Recommend or provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
- Pre/Post-Operative Care: Offer care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with opticians and sales staff to recommend optimal lenses.
