Full Time Associate With Path To Partnership

Job Description

Effingham Eye Care in Rincon, GA (suburb of Savannah) is looking for a full-time associate who is interested in becoming a partner in two years. 140K/year, 4.5 days a week (closed Friday afternoons), 3 weeks PTO plus 10 paid holidays, 3% 401K match, CME allowance, 18 patients/day average, no weekends or after hours call.

Office

We are a "small town" practice in a not so small community. Our practice is over 20 years old and has strong ties in the community with many patients who have been with us since the beginning. Our patient base consists of approximately 50% routine vision care and 50% medical eye care (with a large glaucoma population). Equipment includes OCT, VF, ERG, ORA, Optomap, auto phoropters, anterior segment imaging, and a full service edging optical. 

 After two years of employment, the associate will have the option to buy in up to 25% at a price determined based on *current* practice value (as appraised by Williams Group in 2024). The buy in structure is such that owner distributions will immediately more than offset the practice purchase loan payments, and any growth over the two-year associate period will become immediate equity for the new partner.

Candidate Description

We are looking for a doc who has a strong desire to become a practice owner and is driven to be invested in the practice from day one. We want a doc who connects with their patients and sees themselves caring for them long term as well as integrating into our community. Our docs get along great and treat each other and our employees with respect. We operate in good faith that we are all doing what's in the best interest of the practice, and we prioritize direct communication when addressing conflict. 

Candidate Requirements

GA license, ability to start no later than January 2025, capacity and desire to practice full scop medical optometry, desire to become a practice owner
