Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and eager to work in a collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to practice full-scope optometry by preforming comprehensive annual eye exams, managing various eye diseases and injuries, as well as fitting specialty contact lenses.
At American Fork Vision Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care while ensuring both our patients and staff feel valued and prioritized. We have availability for an optometrist to join our team for 3 to 3.5 days a week with the potential for more as our practice grows. Our practice sees an average patient load of 16 patients on a full day and 10 on a half day, allowing ample time for quality patient interactions.

Specializing in full-scope optometry, we diagnose, manage, and treat various eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal diseases. Our practice has has also built a reputation of being specialists in fitting scleral lenses and see and above average rate of keratoconus patients.
We believe in a preventative approach to eye health, offering thorough screenings and detailed consultations beyond routine eye exams and prescriptions. Our goal is to help patients maintain optimal eye health and vision for life.

Candidate Description
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and treating eye conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Business acumen and understanding of private practice operations are a plus
- Residency training in a specialized area of optometry is desirable but not required
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Candidate Requirements
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school
